IB Learner Trait for November is: Thinker

The International Baccalaureate® (IB) learner profile describes a broad range of human capacities and responsibilities that go beyond academic success.

They imply a commitment to help all members of the school community learn to respect themselves, others and the world around them.

Each of the IB's programmes is committed to the development of students according to the IB learner profile.

The profile aims to develop learners who are:

  • Inquirers
  • Knowledgeable
  • Thinkers
  • Communicators
  • Principled
  • Open-minded
  • Caring
  • Risk-takers
  • Balanced
  • Reflective

GALA 2022

Thank you to all of our donors, sponsors, parents and staff who supported our annual fall fundraiser. We enjoyed a beautiful night at The High Desert Museum clad in 1920s fedoras, flapper dresses and raised our paddles to support the amazing work of our IB school.

Spanish teacher gathers in front of new sign!

Bienvenidos to our two new and extraordinary Primary Years and Middle Years Program Spanish teachers.  Ama Schroeder and Felicia Villalobos bring a wealth of teaching experience and enthusiasm to our language acquisition at Seven Peaks School.

Model UN Student Achievements 2022 - A RETROSPECTIVE

In April this year, all 8th-grade students participated in the three-day Virtual Oregon Model UN Conference. This conference was the culmination of months of work SPS student delegates put in during L&L and I&S to accurately represent their country (Argentina, Singapore, The Netherlands, or the United Arab Emirates) in committees. Students explored their country’s identities while navigating how these identities shape beliefs, systems of governance, and relationships in the world.

Open Community Meetings for ALL SPCO Members

Open Community Meetings will be the second Wednesday of each month, alternating mornings and evenings; meetings will consist of an update from the Leadership Team’s meeting the week before and then will include a special guest/presentation/discussion/event. Meetings will be held in The Commons unless otherwise noted. Please see the Calendar on our website for all Open Community Meeting dates through the end of the school year.
