Choosing the right school is one of the most important decisions a family will make. Whether you're just beginning your search or preparing to apply, we're here to help. What ages does Seven Peaks School serve?
Seven Peaks School welcomes students from 3½ years old in Preschool (Pre-K) through 8th grade. As Central Oregon's only Preschool through Grade 8 International Baccalaureate (IB) World School, students benefit from a continuous educational journey.
What is the International Baccalaureate (IB)?
The IB is a globally recognized educational framework that develops curious, knowledgeable, caring young people through inquiry, critical thinking, collaboration, and reflection. Seven Peaks offers both the Primary Years Programme (PYP) and Middle Years Programme (MYP).
What is the average class size?
Average class sizes are 18 to 20 students, allowing teachers to know every child while supporting personalized learning and strong relationships.
Do you offer financial aid?
Yes. Seven Peaks offers need-based financial aid to qualifying families. Please visit our Tuition & Affordability page for additional information.
When should families apply?
We accept admission applications beginning September 1 of the year prior to the school year of desired enrollment. For example, applications for the following school years will be accepted beginning on the dates listed below:
- 2027-2028 school year: September 1, 2026
- 2028-2029 school year: September 1, 2027
We process admission applications in the fall and early winter, and fill open spots after our priority deadline (mid-February). After that deadline, we fill remaining openings on a rolling basis throughout the spring and summer. You can see application deadlines here. Applying early provides the greatest opportunity for placement in your preferred grade.
Does Seven Peaks provide transportation?
Daily transportation is not offered. School vans are used for field experiences, athletics, outdoor education, and students occasionally use supervised public transportation for educational outings.
What makes Seven Peaks different?
Seven Peaks is Central Oregon's only Preschool through Grade 8 IB World School, combining inquiry-based learning, small class sizes, outdoor education, and a nurturing community.
How are students prepared for high school?
