Middle School

Middle school is a crucial time for students as they transition from children to young adults. At Seven Peaks we believe that both the academic and social experiences during these middle years have significant impacts on shaping the character of an individual. We are focused on providing an environment in which students thrive academically, explore creative interests, learn to treat themselves and others with respect, and develop a life long love of learning.

Our middle school program covers grades six through eighth with two classes of 25 students per grade for a total of 150 students. The schedule is as follows:
Monday through Thursday: 8:10 am - 3:10 pm
Friday: 8:10 am - 1:30 pm

Middle school requirements include 3 years each of:
Language Arts
Social Studies
Math
Science
Spanish
Music or Band
Visual Arts
Physical Education/Wellness

Electives are offered of Fridays where students choose from an extensive elective offering. (Please see the Electives section for a list of courses.) Students are also required to take the following mandatory electives prior to graduation:
Health and Sex Education
Community Service
Computer Competency (students may test out of this requirement)
