Giving Back to the Community
Imagine developing citizens with a refined sense of humanity and compassion that strive to help others less fortunate. Imagine developing citizens who have skills to solve problems within the community and have the empathy and kindness to follow through with goodwill. Imagine this is your child and the beginning of this character development is at Seven Peaks.
Purpose:
Our philosophy of giving back to the community reinforces our Core Virtues program by allowing families to actively participate in local, national and international goodwill organizations. Students gain knowledge and learn civic skills in organized, age-appropriate community service.
Benefits:
Students experience increased social awareness and empathy which promotes positive social behavior in their daily lives. Interest in academics also increases as students are exposed to new and varied areas within the local and global society. This is based on research by the U.S. Dept. of Education, the Corporation for Community Service and the Points of Light Foundation.
Opportunities:
Seven Peaks is actively involved in community service outreach with non-profit organizations. Please click on the images to the right to learn more about how you can get involved!
